Who can sign up for the Patient Portal?

  • Patients of Garden City Hospital are eligible to use the patient portal.
  • Currently, only patients age 18 and older are eligible for access to GCHealth.
  • Adult patients can designate a proxy to view their medical records. A proxy form must be completed and signed by both parties. A legal guardian of an incapacitated adult patient may also be granted proxy status. Proper copies of guardianship must be on file. Please review all rules regarding proxy.

How do I sign up for GCHealth?

It’s easy!

Call the patient portal hotline to sign up at 734-458-4363 between the hours of 9:00 am-3:30 pm Monday – Friday.

  • Please note that appointments cannot be made through the patient portal.

GCHealth at Garden City Hospital is dedicated to helping improve your overall health care experience by providing convenient, streamlined resources to help you better manage your health. We now offer the ability to securely connect health management apps to your health record. Call us at 734-458-4363 to discuss any app you are interested in. We will recommend your app of choice to our vendor to ensure it meets their specifications and API FHIR standards and let you know if it is approved.

GCHealth has also enabled an Unsecure Emailing feature should you choose to email information outside of the Portal. See the Messaging Component in the Contact Us section of your portal for complete description and instructions.
