Introducing fitness into your everyday life can be challenging, but once you do you may realize the many health benefits. Regular exercise can help reduce the risk for chronic illnesses like heart disease, improve your mood and build strong bones. The American Heart Association recommends adults get at least 150 minutes of exercise per week, or 30 minutes per day (with two days of rest). It's also recommended to add moderate-high intensity activities on at least two days and limit the amount of time sitting (this is dependent on physical abilities and doctor recommendations). ThisPassport to Good Health challenge is about exercising excellence.
