Prevent T2 Diabetes Program Orientation

Prevent T2 Diabetes Program Orientation

About This Event

  • Event Type:Diabetes

1 in 3 Americans have prediabetes, a condition where blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not high enough for type 2 diabetes. It's important to learn the risk, be screened regularly and take steps to delay or prevent type 2 diabetes or prediabetes.

Garden City Hospital's Prevent T2 Diabetes lifestyle change program can help you manage your weight and diet, become more physically active and reduce stress to help you prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Taught by an RN and registered dietitian, both certified in diabetes education. You do not need a referral from your doctor to join.

Join us for an orientation next Tuesday, January 28 in the Medical Office Building, lower-level classrooms 1&2. Make changes to improve your health and get back to the things you love.
