About GCH

Garden City Hospital began as the vision of six local osteopathic physicians in March of 1947. The current facility opened its doors in April 1960 and has undergone several major expansions and renovations since that time. Osteopathic internship and residency programs have been part of the hospital’s mission since 1952. As an original flagship hospital for osteopathic training, GCH is proud to have provided postdoctoral medical education to more than 1,300 DO’s.

In July of 2014, Garden City Hospital became a member of Prime Healthcare Services, a multihospital system based in Ontario, California that has been recognized by Truven among the Top 15 Healthcare Systems nationally. Prime member hospitals have received Top Hospital awards for quality.
