Applicant Information

Applying for PGY-1 Positions

Garden City Hospital accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for first year (PGY1) positions. The following programs participate in the Osteopathic Match (NMS):

  • Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • *Internal Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Traditional Rotating Internship

*The hospital also participates in the allopathic NRMP (National Resident Match Program) match for the Internal Medicine Program through the ERAS.

Applicants will be notified when their ERAS application is received. Those selected for an interview will receive an invitation via email or telephone. Information on selection criteria are provided under each program's description on this site.

Applying to the Cardiology Fellowship

Only residents who have completed an AOA-approved Internal Medicine Residency may apply for the Osteopathic Cardiology Fellowship. Applications must be submitted via ERAS, and this program does not participate in a match; applicants who are offered a position will be contacted directly.
