COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
Garden City Community Serivces
Continuing the tradition of community service, Garden City Hospital takes
pride in participating in the surrounding community, both through healthcare
services and community outreach efforts. We have sustained a 60-year commitment
to provide programs, events, services, and be a trusted source for education.
Disaster Preparedness - Our hospital has a comprehensive disaster preparedness plan to enable
the staff to handle any type of emergency. We work with Wayne County Region
2 South Healthcare Coalition. Our Public Information Officer is Chris Allman.
Emergency Services - Our hospital provides comprehensive Emergency Medical Services, 24-hours
a day, seven days a week and is a paramedic receiving station.
Blood Drives - Our hospital is a leader in the community and sponsors the American
Red Cross four times per year for a community-wide blood drive. The blood
drives are held in the Allan Breakie Medical Office Building (on the main
campus), lower level classrooms, from 7:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Community Assistance Pricing (CAP) - At Garden City Hospital, we don’t want you to sacrifice your wellness
because you are worried about the bills. That’s why we developed
a reduced pricing program for those who do not have insurance.
