Chronic wounds cause complex medical problems, including pain, loss of function and compromised quality of life. If you have a non-healing wound, the Garden City Hospital Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Services at the Specialty Centers of Westland has the expertise and technology needed for a cure.
You may need to seek treatment if your wound:
• Has not healed after four to six weeks,

• Has resisted healing for months or years.
These types of wounds include:
• Surgical wounds
• Pressure ulcers
• Skin tears, grafts or flaps
• Radiation damage
• Lower leg/foot wounds
• Ostomies

• Diabetes

A physician prescription is not necessary to receive treatment. Our staff will act as a representative with your insurance company if your insurance company requires a referral.
