The Heartsaver Courses are designed for professionals who require a course completion card for their place of employment, such as teachers, nurses aides, foster care workers, daycare providers, security personnel, etc. Participants will receive an American Heart Association textbook that includes information on Adult CPR, Pediatric CPR, choking procedures, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course requires participants to complete practical skills. American Heart Association certification is valid for two years from the date issued. Course includes: Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED). This class is offered at Garden City Hospital's Health and Education Center.
